Band Concert Returns to SVCC Mathis Theatre March 1

Join Sauk Valley Community College for the Music Department’s Fall Concert. The SVCC Concert Band will perform Sunday, March 1 in the SVCC Mathis Theatre, starting at 2:00 p.m. Admission is free.

This “Heroic” return to the SVCC Mathis Theatre will be marked by pieces such as Gershwin's "American in Paris," Ellen Taaffe Zwilich's "Fanfare," Cacavas' "Their Finest Hour," Swearingen's "Novena," and Skornicka's arrangement of Beethoven's "Overture 'Eroica'".

Please join us as the concert makes a return to the SVCC Mathis Theatre, and support our Sauk students, community volunteers, and dedicated local high school musicians.
